Senior Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary:

Steele Auto Group has an immediate requirement for a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join their growing Marketing Team. This role will liaison with our dealers and help to coordinate the deployment of marketing/advertising for the Steele brand in cooperation with our in-house design team. Essential Functions:

  • Respond quickly to inquiries from dealership management
  • Coordinate the booking of advertising and the production of marketing material
  • Prepare reports and benchmark performance of various advertising channels
  • Aid with Google AdWords and report on effectiveness and performance of ads
  • Assist where appropriate with dealer website content and approved changes using CMS systems
  • Contribute to social media accounts and content for posts and social media platforms and work towards maximizing our SEO and engagement
  • Review/proof marketing and promotional material
  • Create monthly website and marketing metric reports
  • Manage timelines and production of sponsorship events and materials

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • University degree or College graduate
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, corporate communications. Automotive experience considered an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with PPC (pay per click)
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing and communications strategies
  • Confident in dealing, presenting and discussing effectiveness of efforts with various stakeholders
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Social media savvy (mobile, internet, social networking)
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Illustrator and In Design is an asset
  • Experience in Google Tag Manager
  • Knowledge in Analytics and AdWords expected

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a reliable vehicle and clean driving record, as travel to various locations is sometimes required
  • Amazing ability to manage projects, and effectively follow up on tasks until completion
  • Reliability, with the expectation to maintain regular, punctual attendance
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with multiple business groups and stakeholders
