Steele Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac has an immediate requirement for a Marketing Communications Coordinator for their Sales Department. 

About the Role:

The Marketing Communications Coordinator will be responsible for handling incoming phone calls and internet leads, confirming sales appointments and performing both short and long-term follow-up on all sold and  unsold customers (e.g., internet leads, showroom visits, and incoming calls). The sales coordinator will also assist the sales management team with tasks related to client management and customer service.

Marketing Communications Coordinator’s Responsibilities:

  • Generate appointments and interactions by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market too potential customers
  • Setting appointments is your goal
  • Listen and be attentive to customer needs and priorities in order to provide appropriate suggestions and guidance to the sales team
  • Provide superior customer service and achieve highest degree of customer satisfaction
  • Work in close partnership with sales consultants to provide qualified leads and detailed information on customer requirements
  • Meet specified monthly targets and goals
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
  • Check email and text messages frequently and respond to inquiries immediately
  • Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly
  • Contribute to the overall success of the dealership by working with all customers, teams and departments collaboratively and professionally with a positive, roll-up your sleeves attitude

Marketing Communications Coordinator’s Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience; experience in an automotive setting preferred, but not required; will train the right individual
  • Confident, pleasant and professional phone voice
  • Possess time management skills and be able to work independently
  • Take direction well
  • Must like being part of a TEAM
  • Comfortable with the use of text messages, computers and related software
  • Must be able to follow a process

Marketing Communications Coordinator’s Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Prior customer relations or BDC experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train and develop the right individual.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
