Jeff Hanson

Jeff Hanson was a young and talented employee whom we lost tragically on June 10th.

A technician at Halifax Chrysler, Jeff was 27 and leaves behind a wife and a baby boy who unfortunately has some health complications. Jeff had worked with us at Halifax Chrysler since 2010; prior to that he worked at MacPhee Chev after apprenticing at Steele Chrysler, so he is well-known to many in our employee group.  In fact, the overwhelming employee response to this tragedy was, “How can we help?”

As a company, the Steele Auto Group will do what we can to support this young family, but we also wanted to provide the opportunity for employees to make individual donations to Jeff’s family in trust if they so choose.

An account has now been set up and donations can be made directly at any Scotiabank branch. The account # is 70243 03687 25 and cheques can be made out to “Jeff Hanson in Trust”.
